OBJECTIVE

The ambition of “A Glance on the World” is to bring a reflection on our way of life and our respect for the environment. The most significant place to dream about this is in the middle of natural adventure.

This 10 months solo mission on an uninhabited island of about 60km2 aims to value another way of life by showing a fascinating return to basics. It is a project proposed by Xavier Rosset. The main goal will be the survival on an island without human interference and without polluting.

ADAPTATION

Xavier will be equipped with only a machete and a Swiss knife, indispensable on an uninhabited island. He will have to build shelter, feed on fish and vegetation and collect rainwater to live.
